Three (of four) Oil Cans (their version of stars)



This CD features members of The Long Ryders, Green On Red, and The Rain

Parade, all bands who skirted the edge of retro during their collective

heydays.  But since retro is hip now, the clanging Chuck Berry licks and

punchy rhythm guitars on here never sounded better.  A bit of country

('Muddy River','In Betweens'), a bit of 1960's ('Starless Night'), and

a bit of folk rocking ('Georgie's Back In Town'). Not bad, not bad.
